Expectations for Mid Term Voting

 Confession here. Back in June was very disappointed about the Democrat's chances based on so-so or even horrible marketing. Predicted they wouldn't do well on their not being able to benefit/improve the lives of voters.  

Have to retract my comments publicly here. Did not realize the head of the country would have such an incompetent political campaign to make marketing inconsequential. 

• ICE overreach deporting people legally applying and US citizens. Wants to end birthright citizenship.
• Weaponization of Department of Justice. Constantly accusing critics of being criminals.
• Increasing inflation by doubling government budget overspending from 3% to 6%.
• Starting an incompetently run war instead of containing IRGC.
• Siding with communist dictator and supporting him in war against democratic country. 
• Resulting deaths of innocent women and children.
• Threatening to withdraw from long time NATO allies who have maintained peace.
• Worse of all constant lying and verbal reversals when caught and criticized. 

Expecting both the house and senate to flip Democratic now. He has pissed off parts of his core and a large number of swing voters who previously supported him and his party. Immigrants seeing family members deported. Sailors and military put at risk. Fiscally responsible adults shocked by inflation. 

This 5 decade Republican voted Democratic or Independent this election. Standing with ordinary middle class people who do not need this chaos over their head. 

Vote the way you feel is best. But your expectations may not match the country's voting pattern this election. And expect a lot of other people to be blamed or accused of cheating. 

Our leader will not admit making mistakes. 

But we voters have to say what we think and what is right.
